Bekah's Bio

Bekah Finch Turner always had a strong pull towards the magical. She officially stumbled onto her spiritual path at nineteen when she was first introduced to Yoga in Portland, Oregon (although her mom claims she had been doing Yoga in the womb!). She then wandered down a winding road of experiences and teachings from Vipassana meditation to earth medicine that led to Burbank, California.

Bekah {Yoga Teacher * Shamanic Healer * Ordained Minister}

It was there that she blossomed and truly began her work as a teacher and more importantly, as a student.

Bekah has been blessed to learn ways that use all our experiences as tools to go deeper into life. It allows us to connect with others in a way not possible if we had not faced some realm of suffering. The dark only defines the light.

Currently Bekah teaches group classes at Yoga Blend in Burbank as well as manages the studio, holds workshops and co-teaches the 200 hour Yoga Teacher training. She is very active in natural healing - she focuses on women's mysteries, chakra work, seasonal shifts, lunar cycles and several techniques involving sound, drumming, nature, energy work and yoga asana. She faciliates a monthly New Moon gathering for women, seasonal celebrations and works privately with women in the Shamanic arts at her home.

In November 2010 she graduated from the Lynn Andrews Center for Sacred Arts and Training. Bekah continues to deepen her practices with regular research and study with other teachers/traditions and is always open to new possibilities. She has currently studied privately with Vicki Noble and has begun to explore Shamanic healing in the Michael Harner & Carlos Castaneda teachings.

Bekah is interested in working with people on a full spectrum - body, mind, spirit and emotions. She welcomes the opportunity to explore these energies through natural elements and healing techniques.  Bekah sets the intention for healing with a blend of sweetness, sassiness & sacredness.
